- Refunds: I understand that once the link to the resources has been sent to me, my cooling off period has been waived and I am not entitled to a refund.
- Duration of Course: I understand that tutor support starts from my enrolment date and lasts for ONE year or until the date of the exam for unit 2. During this time I have unlimited access to tutor support and will be contacted every week by an assigned tutor who will send questions relevant to the element I have studied the previous week.
- Online Exams: Leafy Learning Ltd. is not able to offer in-person exams, therefore applicants must be willing to sit the exams online from their own home. (except when special access arrangements have been agreed) Exam fees are included in the course fee.
Terms and Conditions
Please read these terms and conditions carefully.
These terms and conditions form the agreement between Leafy Learning Ltd. and you, the student. It is the student’s responsibility to fully read, understand and agree to all enrolment terms and conditions and by agreeing to these terms and conditions, the student confirms they possess a full understanding of all terms and conditions, and willingly accepts all such terms.
Upon enrolling on a course with Leafy Learning Ltd., you (“the Student”) are entering a legal agreement under common law, in which you agree to abide by the conditions of enrolment (including meeting stated payments), in exchange for the service offered by Leafy Learning Ltd. which delivers this course (RHS Level 2 certificate in the principles of plant growth and development)
Definitions:
Leafy Learning Ltd. (“The Company”) is registered as company number 15062107 and our registered office is Riverside Mill, Mountbatten Way, Congleton, CW12 1DY
The student (“you”) is the person purchasing Course Materials and tutor support from The Company.
“Course Materials” includes downloadable resources for each element of the RHS level 2 certificate in the principles of plant growth and development, learning guides, tuition, support services, or practice exam questions. The Student Handbook provides detailed information about the content and structure of the course – please read this before agreeing to terms and conditions.
“Order” means the order for the Course Materials submitted by placing an order through our website, by telephone, email or post.
“Price” means the price of the Course as specified on the website which includes fees for registration with the RHS and exam fees for one attempt at unit 1 and one attempt at unit 2 exams. If you do not achieve a pass for unit 1 or unit 2 or both, you will have to pay an additional exam fee of £100 for each unit if you wish to re-sit an exam.
“Tutor Support’’ includes unlimited access to a tutor for one year from the date you have access to the course materials.
Order Status:
By placing an order through The Company, you warrant that you are legally capable of entering into binding contracts. Your order constitutes an offer to purchase Course Materials. All orders are subject to acceptance by The Company. The order will be confirmed by email, post, telephone or through an automated email from The Company Website. The contract will be formed when we confirm receipt of your order.
Price & Payment:
The price payable for the Course Materials shall be as shown on our website in pounds sterling (GBP). The company can change the prices on our website at any time without notice, but changes will not affect orders which we have already accepted.
We accept payment by PayPal, Cheque or Bank Transfer.
Course Materials
Course materials are delivered as digital copies. We will send you a link to the resources after your order has been processed. Course materials are NOT delivered as paper copies.
Cancellation/Returns Policy:
In accordance with The Consumer Contracts Regulations 2014 you have the right to cancel your order prior to the course materials being received. The option to cancel will not be allowed within the usual cooling off period of 14 days if the course materials have been accessed, and we will presume that you have accessed the course materials once we have emailed the link which allows access to the online course materials.
Please Note: Refunds or Cancellations cannot be offered outside of the stated refund policy. If you choose not to continue with your course outside of the set cancellation policy then all course fees must still be paid.
Course Materials and Time Limits:
We affirm that any course materials will meet a satisfactory level of quality.
The course support period starts from your enrolment date and ends one year from that date or on the date that you take your unit 2 exam. Further extensions can be purchased on request.
Exams for Units 1 and 2 are set externally by the RHS and can be taken in February, June and October. We will enter you for the exams on a date agreed with you. Last minute changes of examination dates may incur a late fee which is payable by you. You will be informed of the time scales for exam registration.
Exams
Exams will be taken online from your home unless there are special considerations or access arrangements in place.
Data Protection:
We are registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office No. C1376975 and are committed to protecting your privacy and keeping your personal information secure. We will not disclose your details to any person, unless you have given your consent.
Complaints Procedure:
Any complaints about course materials or a service should be made in writing to Anne@leafylearning.co.uk We will deal with any complaints with respect and in a timely manner.
Copyright:
All copyright and other intellectual property rights relating to any course materials we supply are owned by us unless attributed and acknowledged as owned by another source. No course materials or study notes are to be republished, sold, loaned or copied, or shared on any social media platform such as Facebook, outside the pursuit of studying the course by the enrolled student, without explicit permission granted in writing by the owner of Leafy Learning Ltd. If the company can prove that copyright infringement has occurred, this may result in legal action or cessation of learning support for the student who has shared course materials without our consent.
External Content
Tutors may send you links or add links to course materials to other useful websites. Leafy Learning Ltd. cannot accept any responsibility for the content of external sites.

Leafy Learning Ltd will undertake all reasonable steps to provide you with a safe, secure and operational online learning environment. If at any time you feel your rights have not been upheld or you have any questions regarding the terms and conditions of use, please contact us immediately.
